That total is one that has to make you pause a minute and think about it but I still like the over.  I like the fact that Jerry Jones is taking talent that has huge upsides like Pacman Jones and not worrying too much about off the field behavior.  The Cowboys have the most talented roster in the NFL and they will win a lot of game despite playing a tough schedule.  Take the over and hope the team stays healthy.

I like the over for the Cowboys and I will tell you why.  Tony Romo has so many weapons on the Cowboys that it’s hard to keep everyone happy and that’s a very good problem to have.  Also, don’t overlook the other side of the football as the Cowboys will be starting 7 former first round picks on that side of the football.  Adding S Ken Hamlin will make Roy Williams a better player because he can move back into the box and help the run defense.  Also, watch rookie OLB Anthony Spencer as he’s going to be an impact player.  Think over the total and maybe make a small wager on the Cowboys to win the NFC as they are just as talented as either the Bears or the Saints.

The over/under for the Cowboys is 9 1/2 wins.  The Cowboys are 8-1 to win the Super Bowl and 19-5 to win the NFC.

My suggestion here is to bet the over as I think the Cowboys are the class of the NFC East.  I look for the Cowboys to be 11-5 this season, and to make a run at the Super Bowl.

On October 8th of this season I see the Cowboys rolling into Philly and T.O. putting up a monster game.  The Cowboys have covered the last three times these teams have played and the Cowboys got much better in the off-season, while the Eagles didn’t really improve that much.  I see the Cowboys jumping on the Eagles early and McNabb throwing some picks trying to catch up because he doesn’t have any receivers anymore.
