The defense really let the Cowboys down in this game as the offense put up 24 points despite only having possession of the football for 21:51 in this game.  Tony Romo had a great game for the Cowboys last Sunday as he completed 28 of 47 passes for 300 yards with 3 TD passes and 1 interception.  Marion Barber was the leading rusher for the Cowboys with 26 yards on 8 carries (3.3 ypc).  He was essentially taken out of the game with the Cowboys playing catch up ball most of the game.  TE Jason Witten was the leading receiver in this game for the Cowboys with 90 yards on 7 grabs (12.9 avg) with a TD.  Patrick Crayton also had a solid game with 7 catches for 87 yards (12.4 avg).  Terrell Owens (7 rec, 71 yards) and Miles Austin (3 rec, 45 yards) each contributed a TD to the Cowboys efforts.  The Cowboys finished up with 44 yards rushing on 11 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 28 of 47 passes for 300 yards.

The defense didn’t play well as a whole but the linebacking corps was busy.  Zach Thomas (12 tackles), Bradie James (10 tackles) and DeMarcus Ware (8 tackles, sack) led the way for the D.  The Redskins finished up with 161 yards rushing on 37 carries (4.4 ypc) and they also completed 20 of 31 passes for 220 yards.  The Cowboys are now 3-1 on the season with this loss.
