Dallas Cowboys 27, Green Bay Packers 16
The Cowboys dominated on offense against the Packers on Sunday Night. Tony Romo led a balanced attack as he completed 17 of 30 passes for 260 yards passing with 1 TD pass and 1 interception. Marion Barber was unstoppable as he carried the ball 28 times for 142 yards (5.1 ypc) with a TD run. He also added 3 receptions for 15 yards (5.0 avg). Rookie RB Felix Jones also had a eye popping game as he rushed for 76 yards on 6 carries (12.7 ypc) with a 60-yard TD run. WR Miles Austin led the Cowboys with 115 yards receiving on only 2 catches (57.5 avg) including a 52-yarder for a TD. TE Jason Witten pitched in with 7 grabs for 67 yards (9.6 avg) last Sunday Night. The Cowboys finished up with 217 yards rushing on 35 carries (6.2 ypc) and they also completed 17 of 31 passes for 236 yards.
The defense of the Cowboys was in bend but don’t break mode against the Packers. Pacman Jones led the way for the Cowboys on defense with 8 tackles and a fumble recovery. Fellow CB Anthony Henry also had a very solid game with 6 tackles and two sacks. The Packers finished up with 84 yards on 21 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 39 passes for 250 yards. The Cowboys improved to 3-0 on the season with this win.
