The Cowboys controlled the football for 39 minutes of this football game but they didn’t hold off the Panthers by much.  Tony Romo was effective even with his bum thumb as he completed 28 of 42 passes for 257 yards with 1 TD pass and 1 interception.  Marion Barber was outstanding also with 110 yards rushing on 22 carries (5.0 ypc).  Julius Jones had a hard time with 25 yards rushing on 9 carries (2.8 ypc).  Patrick Crayton led the receiving corps of the Cowboys with 65 yards on 7 grabs (9.3 avg).  Terrell Owens rolled up 5 catches for 48 yards (9.6 avg) with a TD before leaving the game with a high ankle sprain.  The Cowboys finished up with 148 yards rushing on 37 carries (4.0 ypc) and they also completed 28 of 42 passes for 257 yards.

The Cowboys defense had a great team effort but no one player stood out.  The Panthers finished up with 69 yards rushing on 14 carries (4.9 ypc) and they also completed 15 of 28 passes for 147 yards.

The Cowboys played their worst game of the season and that’s what caused them to lose this game……not Jessica Simpson!  Tony Romo injured his thumb in this game which was part of the cause of his worst game of his NFL career.  Romo completed 13 of 36 passes for 214 yards with 3 interceptions.  He also carried the ball 1 time for 16 yards.  Marion Barber led the Cowboys in rushing with 32 yards on 7 carries (4.6 ypc).  Jason Witten had another really solid game as he caught 8 passes for 113 yards (13.1 avg).  T.O. only had 2 catches for 37 yards (18.5 avg).  The Cowboys finished up with 53 yards rushing on 15 carries (3.5 ypc).  They also completed 13 of 36 passes for 187 yards.

The Cowboys Defense was led by Roy Williams (7 tackles) and Bradie James (7 tackles, sack).  The Eagles finished with 134 yards rushing on 27 carries (5.0 ypc) and they also completed 23 of 41 passes for 181 yards.

Tony Romo led the Cowboys on a nice drive at the end of the game as he hit TE Jason Witten with the game-winning TD with 18 seconds left in the game to improve the Cowboys to 12-1 on the season.  Romo had a solid game as he completed 35 of 44 passes for 302 yards with 2 TD passes and 0 interceptions.  He also carried the ball 1 time for 15 yards.  Marion Barber had a really good game as he carried the ball 7 times for 43 yards (6.1 ypc) with 2 TD runs and he also caught 10 passes for 61 yards (6.1 avg) with a TD.  Julius Jones got his work in as he carried the ball 8 times for 29 yards (3.6 ypc) and he also caught 2 passes for 13 yards (6.5 avg).  TE Jason Witten was the key in the passing game for the Cowboys as he caught 15 passes for 138 yards (9.2 avg) with a TD grab.  Terrell Owens only caught 3 passes for 21 yards (7.0 avg) in this game.  The Cowboys finished up with 87 yards rushing on 16 carries (5.4 ypc) and they also completed 35 of 44 passes for 281 yards.

The defense was led by CB Terence Newman who had 8 tackles.  The Lions finished up with 152 yards rushing on 32 carries (4.8 ypc) and they also completed 22 of 36 passes for 238 yards.
