The Dallas Cowboys re-sign fullback Lousaka Polite

The Cowboys have re-signed fullback Lousaka Polite to a 1-year contract.  He played in 12 games last season for the Cowboys and he carried the football 7 times for 18 yards (2.6 ypc) and he caught 2 passes for 21 yards (10.5 avg).  Polite is paid to block and he does a good job of that.

The Dallas Cowboys sign QB Brock Berlin

The Cowboys have signed Brock Berlin to a contract to compete for the #3 QB job behind Tony Romo and Brad Johnson.  It’s likely that the Cowboys will draft a QB on Sunday to groom behind the two veterans they have on their roster.  If they don’t draft a QB, Berlin may have a chance to make the team.

The Cowboys have re-signed CB Jacques Reeves to a 1-year contract.  He played in 13 games last season for the Cowboys and he made 12 tackles and defensed a pass.  This was just a move for special teams and depth.

The Cowboys have re-signed S Abram Elam and DT Montavius Stanley.  Elam played in 15 games last season for the Cowboys and he made 13 tackles, forced a fumble and recovered a fumble.  He also returned 4 kickoffs for 95 yards (23.8 avg).  Stanley played in 3 games last season for the Cowboys and he made 4 tackles and forced a fumble.

The Dallas Cowboys are on the clock………..

I have conducted a complete 7 round draft for every team in the NFL.  If you want to see what I have projected for any other team in the NFL, click on the team name in the right hand margin and go to the team’s Draft Report page if you don’t see the article on the front page of the site.  This was a lot of work so I hope you enjoy it.

I think that the Cowboys have a plan in mind and they’re going to stick to it no matter what happens in front of them.  With that in mind, here are the players that I think will be Cowboys by the end of April:

1. (22)  Ted Ginn Jr., WR, Ohio State

2. (53)  Manuel Ramirez, OG, Texas Tech

3. (87)  A.J. Davis, CB, North Carolina State

4. (122)  Corey Hilliard, OT, Oklahoma State

5. (159)  Jared Zabransky, QB, Boise State

6. (195)  Gerald Alexander, S, Boise State

6. (200)  Mark Fenton, C, Colorado

7. (211)  Brandon Harrison, S, Stanford

7. (234)  Kurt Quarterman, OG, Louisville

7. (237)  C.J. Ah You, DE, Oklahoma

The Cowboys would use Ginn as their #3 WR and he most certainly would be returning kicks.  Zabransky will be a QB to develop behind Romo and Johnson, which is a good thing to have in case Romo was a fluke last season.
