The Dallas Cowboys re-sign CB Nate Jones

The Cowboys have re-signed CB Nate Jones to a 1-year contract.  He played in 4 games last season for the Cowboys and he made 9 tackles.  He also returned a kickoff for 13 yards.  Jones will likely get a chance to battle for the nickel bak job for the Cowboys if he can stay healthy.  The Cowboys also have signed DE Stephen Brown.  He was an undrafted free agent last season that didn’t get any playing time as a rookie, so don’t expect much from him if he even makes the team.

The Dallas Cowboys re-sign WR Patrick Crayton

The Cowboys have re-signed WR Patrick Crayton to a 1-year, $1.3 million dollar contract and he deserves the money.  He played in all 16 games (7 starts) for the Cowboys last season and he caught 36 passes for 516 yards (14.3 avg) with 4 TD catches.  He really improved as a football player in his third season and he could possibly be a starter down the road when T.O. or Terry Glenn eventually leave Dallas.
