The Saints really exposed some of the Cowboys weaknesses and the score could have been worse, but Sean Payton showed some mercy on Bill Parcells in the 4th quarter.  Tony Romo didn’t play well at all as he completed 16 of 33 passes for 249 net yards passing with 1 TD and 2 INTs.  Julius Jones had a great game, but the Cowboys couldn’t use him after they fell so far behind.  Jones carried the ball 10 times for 116 yards (11.6 ypc) and a TD.  Terry Glenn had a good game with 8 catches for 150 yards.  Terrell Owens caught 3 passes for 56 yards and a TD, but he dropped alot of passes.  Jason Witten added 4 catches for 33 yards.

The Cowboys defense played pathetic in this loss.  The Cowboys allowed the Saints to carry the ball 36 times for 159 yards (4.4 ypc).  The Saints completed 26 of 38 passes for 377 net yards passing.

The Cowboys fell to 8-5 on the season with this loss.
