Dallas Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals
The Dallas Cowboys are 4-4 and coming off of a shocking last second loss to their nemesis, the Redskins. The Cardinals are on a 7 game losing streak and look like the worst team in the NFL.
The Cowboys should be able to do whatever they want on offense as the Cardinals can’t stop the run (124.4 yards per game) OR the pass (219.4 yards per game). The Tuna will probably try to get the running game going first with Julius Jones (689 yards rushing) and Marion Barber (309 yards rushing). After the running game is established Tony Romo will get his shot at the Cardinals secondary. Look for Terrell Owens and Jason Witten to have huge games on Sunday.
The Cardinals would like to get Edgerrin James (516 yards rushing) going, but the Cowboys have a tough run defense (85.4 yards per game). The Cards offensive line will need to block well for Matt Leinart to give him a chance to get the ball to the Cardinals play-makers. Anquan Boldin (48 rec, 608 yards) should benefit from single coverage for the first time in weeks because Larry Fitzgerald is back. The Cowboys safeties have been late in helping the corners deep, so look for Leinart to try to expose that.
The Cowboys should win this game easy, but the Bears thought they would too and wound up in a dog fight.
