Terrell Owens will miss 2-4 weeks after having surgery to repair a broken finger.
Drew Bledsoe looked good against the Skins last night. Bledsoe completed 19 of 38 passes (50%) for 237 yards and 2 TDs. RB Julius Jones carried the ball 20 times for 94 yards (4.7 ypc). Marion Barber had 8 carries for 39 yards (4.9 ypc) and a TD, he also caught 1 pass for 26 yards. Terry Glenn caught 6 passes for 94 yards (15.7 avg) and a TD. Jason Witten caught 4 passes for 45 yards. Rookie TE Anthony Fasano caught 3 passes for 39 yards. Terrell Owens caught 3 passes for 19 yards. Patrick Crayton caught 2 passes for 14 yards and a TD.
Safety Roy Williams led the defense with 7 tackles and an interception. DE/LB Greg Ellis had 4 tackles and 1.5 sacks. The Cowboys held the Redskins to 93 yards rushing (4.7 ypc). The Cowboys allowed the Redskins to complete 54.5% of their passes for 152 net yards.
You should call TO the invisible man -you can hear him, but you can never see him around!
It looks like his antics for attention will make him another Duane Thomas style Cowboy. What a total waste of so much talent…….another head case. Too bad really…..
What is old Bill Parcells and Jerry Jones thinking about with their ancient ideas. Mr. Jones needs to get a more up to date offense minded coach in the style of Norv Turner. Did you learn anything under Jimmy Johnson, Jerry. Why did you let the coaches under Jimmy go else where and bring in the out of date Tuna. You guys are unbelievable. Bledsoe needs to go on and retire or come off of the bench. The “Dallas Cowboy Nation” has suffered long enough. Oh Emmitt, Troy, Michael and Jimmy “where fore are thou”?

This should be a great hard-hitting football game. Both teams need this game bad, and they are very similar teams. The Redskins will try to run the football with Clinton Portis, and then take shots deep to Santana Moss just like last season when they played. The Cowboys have a very good defense against both the run and pass so Brunell will have to be efficient and not make any bad throws.
The Cowboys will need to keep Redskins out of their backfield on passing downs. Drew Bledsoe tends to panic and make bad throws. If he gets time, Bledsoe should have his way with the Skins CBs who had a little trouble with the Jaguars no-name receivers. Terrell Owens and Terry Glenn will stretch the field and make it a little easier for Julius Jones to run.
This should be a great game that could go either way.

A lot of fingers in Dallas are pointing directly at Drew Bledsoe when asked for a reason why the Cowboys lost on Sunday. Bledsoe completed 16 of 33 passes (48.5%) for 246 yards with 1 TD and 3 interceptions. RB Julius Jones ran the ball 17 times for 72 yards (4.2 ypc) and a TD, he also caught 1 pass for 39 yards. WR Terry Glenn caught 4 passes for 81 yards (20.3 avg). WR Terrell Owens caught 6 passes for 80 yards (13.3 avg) and a TD.
The Cowboys defense stuffed the Jags running game, holding them to 78 yards rushing and only 2.4 yards per carry. The Jags passed well against the Cowboys’ defense, completing 67.6% of their passes for 229 net yards.
Parcells opening day record is now 8-11. Not so great for a “Hall of Fame” coach.
The New Jersey con man is, once again showing his true colors.
Man Cowboys, what are we going to do about this washed up Q.B. He’s killing us! He seems to be gun shy in the pocket and he makes terrible decesion’s when just a little pressure is put on him. I don’t care how much talent we have on the field, with Drew Bledsoe at the helm we are doomed. He’s been washed up since his last days in New England thats why they got rid of him!? Come on Tuna when are you and J.J. going to wise up?I’d rather see Romo be given a chance to lead this team, he did do a great job in the pre-season.The future is now!So go to the film and watch Bledsoe nut up in every pressure situation. Watch him stand in the pocket and get sacked because he has zero mobility and quite frankly look like a ten year old pop warner QB in his first game every! I’m a third generation Cowboy fan and I would hate to sit thru another season like last year when we lost close games because our leader!?who  fell to lead in critical situations just like today. So with that being said, make today the last day that we cowboy faithful have to agonize thru another choke performance by a choke performer!
Suisham will be starting Sunday in place of Mike Vanderjagt who is still having trouble with his groin. If Vanderjagt is out awhile and Suisham does well, Vanderjagt may get cut.
