T.O.

Blogged under Front Page, General Cowboys Talk by srodftworthsports on Wednesday 27 September 2006 at 3:20 pm

Everyone who wrote in about T.O. and beating him down need to consider your source of info. The Dallas media have been looking and digging for ways to make this another Phili. Disaster. come Let let the guy do it on his own if it even happens as far as I can see he is a ball player and nothing more The Media over looked so many things about the Cowboys this off season while doing the “T.O. Saga”as they would call it. what about this Kicker or the QB thing did this just all of the sudden become a issue??? The answer is NO! Dallas has more pressing Issues let talk about them instead of trying to “create As T.O. Turns”.

Don’t get me wrong I know we have a prima-donna on our hands but so do three quarters of the teams out there. So Please lets give it a chance to either be great or not before we are ready to write this highly talented reciever off!!

No one should write him off as a football player. He’s a fantastic WR on the field. I can’t remember a Cowboys receiver with his skill set.

He’s a 25 million dollar distraction to the Cowboys, Bill should have been more forceful with Jerry in allowing this distraction to be signed. He is another D Sanders, a one shot wonder, all glitz and no return on the 25 mil investment. And this episode is only the beginning, you will recall that when TO went on his tantrums in the past, they all started over silly stuff like this, wear he barely shows his butt, gets called on it, and then the steam really builds.

Jerry Jones, you got exactly what you paid for!!!

First of all the Only thing Deon did was make the Defense of the Cowboys #1 in the NFL by closing down 1/2 of the football field. on the field in the club house and now several yrs. later T.O. is guilty of being injured. Remember your words at the end of the yr. when we are back in the playoffs and working toward the superbowl
    then write back.
“jerry got what he paid for”

I suggest you review TO’s stats against the league leaders over the past few years, even against Terry Glenn, he’s just not that great!!! He makes a couple momentous plays, and then nothing. Sporadic glory does not make a great player, consistency does. My prediction, write this down, first, he will sit most, if not all of the game tomorrow as Bill wants TO’s head checked first, second, due to Bill wanting his head examined, and, him sitting out tomorrow, this coming week will see TO explode into the one observed in Philly, more predictions to follow…

The following is an interesting quote from Mike Tyson…

“”I want to have fun because during my boxing career I was too damn serious. That was my problem, I took myself too serious,” Tyson said, comparing his younger self to Terrell Owens, the talented but problem-plagued Dallas Cowboys receiver.

“I look at him and he reminds me of me. How much we are in love with ourselves and only we count and nobody else counts around us. I say, ‘Wow that was me.”‘

Jeeesh, you really got to be on the bottom when you get dissed by Mike Tyson.

It’s amazing how easily we are led by the media. as far as I can see T.O. stands for team offense he blocked and ran set routes that opened up runs and allowed other recievers to go get it. Game stats 5 rec./88yrds. with a broken hand good luck Cowboys Im behind you 110% Oh by the way the real problem (Vanderjagt) needs an attitude adjustment and needs to get right real fast.

Just having TO on the field does open up the offense quite a bit, because no team wants TO to beat them.
