Time to play football

Blogged under General Cowboys Talk by wildthang on Saturday 30 September 2006 at 10:40 am

Well, its time to play football in Dallas. Time to stop trying to analyze T O, because it has never been done and will never be done till he has been retired from football and matured into a more sensual man. He isn’t capable of that right now as long as he is playing at not all fault to him, but at fault of the media who feeds off of his drama. Jeremiah Trotter said it best, when he told the media after the overdose incident, “He pays yall’s bills.” Well, as i see it, T O sees what a spectacle he is once again, and i think he is finally ready to play ball and improve his stats, and help his team win. He needs to be on the field in Tennessee, because this is the last chance to evaluate all positions before the schedule gets tough again, so let’s put this all behind us. I assure everyone, the sooner we as fans put it behind us, so will the media and T O so we can start winning some football games. Good luck to T O and my boy Terry Glenn !        GO COWBOYS  !!

Cowboys vs. Titans

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,This Week's Matchup Report by ravenhater on Thursday 28 September 2006 at 8:23 pm

The Cowboys should be able to do anything they want on offense and the Titans will not be able to stop them!

I look for the Cowboys to run right at the Titans weak run defense.  The Titans are allowing 163.7 yards on the ground so far this season, so Julius Jones (166 yards) and Marion Barber (52 yards) are probably licking their chops!  As soon as the Titans creep up on defense, Bledsoe will go up top to his favorite receiver Terry Glenn (10 rec, 175 yards).  Look for Bledsoe to throw alot of short passes to TEs Jason Witten and Anthony Fasano, due to T.O. probably getting the week off.

The Titans have been throwing the ball almost twice as much as they’ve run the ball (113-66).  That will have to change if they want to have a chance in this game.  What the Titans really need to do is identify a main running back and give him the ball 20+ times.  In the passing game, look for the Titans to start using David Givens more to relieve the double coverage on Drew Bennett.

This game has the look of a Cowboy rout!

this guy is too much…the coach has it right…T.O. and Marc Cuban are living proof money dosent buy classs or happiness

Owens blamed a combination of hydrocodone, a generic form of Vicodin, with all-natural supplements for making him ill. why would any one mix all those meds together…he set himself up for that…he should of jus taken the meds the doc gave him and left the other meds alone…and of course he was out of it when the cops asked those questions if he was trying to hurt himself….duh he was gonna answer yes or some outta wack answer…

T.O.

Everyone who wrote in about T.O. and beating him down need to consider your source of info. The Dallas media have been looking and digging for ways to make this another Phili. Disaster. come Let let the guy do it on his own if it even happens as far as I can see he is a ball player and nothing more The Media over looked so many things about the Cowboys this off season while doing the “T.O. Saga”as they would call it. what about this Kicker or the QB thing did this just all of the sudden become a issue??? The answer is NO! Dallas has more pressing Issues let talk about them instead of trying to “create As T.O. Turns”.

Don’t get me wrong I know we have a prima-donna on our hands but so do three quarters of the teams out there. So Please lets give it a chance to either be great or not before we are ready to write this highly talented reciever off!!

T.O.

I’ve been a cowboy fan as long as I can remember (through good and bad times). As good a player as T.O. is, I can’t understand his rationale. Is he so depressed that he

would rather end his life than enjoy spending all those millions he is do to receive? I’ve

played sports (not professionally) but collegiately and had my share of injuries. None

ever put me into a funk that was lead to self destruction. There has to be more to this

story..

Terrell Owens

Terrell Owens was depressed before the police disclosed his suicide attempt. Now he will surely need medication as well as counseling to get over the entire nation finding out about his personal struggles w/ depression.

Terrell Owens (T.O.)

Terrell Owens you should be ashamed of your self by trying to overdose. You play very good in football and trying to chicken out the way you tried to do was a cop out. Heck you make a lot of money and you should be proud that you make that kind of money. Share the wealth dear. But taking your own life isn’t the answer. God has a purpose for you to excel in what you know best. You should hang in there and do what GOD wants you to do dear. Thank about your parents if they are still alive and your brothers and sisters if you have any at all.
I don’t know anything about your life but your going the wrong way all the way around. I had a brother who killed himself back on July 06, 1993 and the was very devastating for my hole family and it still has its moments when we cry for my brother.
I lost my Dad on March 31, 2000 and he died broken hearted about my brother. I wish I could crab a hold of my brother and slap him for what he has done to his family and his children that he left behind.
BUT TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF ISN’T THE ANSWER AT ALL. YOU NEED TO FIND GOD AND PUT HIM IN YOUR LIFE SO YOU WILL LIVE RIGHT. LEAVE THE DRUGS ALONE YOU CAN HANDLE THE PAIN IN YOU HAND YOUR A BIG BOY NOW AND NOT A WIMP.
Take care of yourself and be thankful that GOD has a plan for you. Like I have said share your wealth with others that isn’t as lucky as you. Some little kid in your neighbor hood or where ever.

Bye week comes too early for Cowboys

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page by ravenhater on Friday 22 September 2006 at 6:49 am

The way the Cowboys played last week against the Redskins probably makes them wish they had a game this week.  Next week the Cowboys play in Tennessee which amounts to 2 bye weeks in a row.

The Cowboys are winning the battles in the trenches as they are out-rushing their opposition 226-171.  The Cowboys have also out-sacked the opposition 7-3, which is really saying something because Bledsoe is so immobile.

Look for RB Marion Barber to get an increased workload to keep RB Julius Jones healthy for the rest of the season.
